Neches River Bridge Feasibility Study Final Report – June 2013

The Texas Department of Transportation conducted a study on the Neches River bridge at Beaumont. This is a critical east-west freight trade route used by Union Pacific, BNSF, Kansas City Southern and also used by Amtrak’s Sunset Limited. As of 2021 there have been no further announcements.
