October 2, 2023 - TRA Newswire -
The dates are confirmed for the 20th Annual Southwestern Rail Conference. The premier freight and passenger rail conference in the Southwest that brings together the public and private sector is scheduled for April 15 and 16, 2024.
The conference will again run back-to-back with the Annual Texas Short Line and Regional Railroad Association conference and meeting. The TSLRRA event will be Monday, April 15.
Both events will be held at the Hurst Conference Center, convenient to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport for those from out of the North Texas region. A Hilton hotel property is steps away from the conference center and a special room block rate will be available in the near future.
Details on the Southwestern Rail Conference will be posted to this webpage. Early Bird discounted registration and sponsorships for the conference will open later this fall.

The conference, hosted by Texas Rail Advocates, draws hundreds of attendees from Texas, neighboring states and across the country and is the only one of its kind in the Southwest that discusses both freight and passenger rail issues that affect the industry and the public with a special emphasis on state and federal rail matters.
