Over 340 million people live in the United States, with only about 36,000 people over the age of 90 still in the workforce, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

And one of them lives right here in East Texas—with no plans of slowing down.

Meet Martha Ann.

For the past 17 years, Martha Ann has worked right over at the Mineola Train Depot. At 92 years old, she works seven days a week, with two shifts each day.

“I didn’t think I’d reach 92, let alone work!” Martha Ann said.

Nearly 20 years ago, after a life of being a wife and stay-at-home mom to four boys, she was approached by Amtrak support staff to fill in for the previous depot host.“I got news for you, I could still run if I had to,” Martha Ann Moreland said.
